Paper cut-outs

I took a series of still from a video of my pole instructor and cut them out, leaving them attached at the bottom. I managed to make them all the same size and do a really clean cut on them. I experimented with the flash on my camera, a torch so the shadows were elongated, a shadow of the negative cut-out, natural lighting, coloured background and multiple light sources. I found it difficult to get the right angle for the shadows whilst still having a crisp outline so I will have to work on the set up for this.

There are so many things that I could do with paper cut-outs so I will continue to do so as another stage of my design development.
